My best guess is to have the live-broadcast cgi return a .ram file that
embeds an rtsp or http URL that points to the SMIL file residing either on
your G2 RealServer or a web server respectively. 

It seems that Real Players other than the Windows version lack support for
the /m option to handle SMIL files as parameters. :-(
