Information overlay in vic

Hey,

How hard would it be to have an overlay in vic, either graphic or text.
Static to start with, dynamic later on (that's video mixing and might
actually be a different tool?)

Ok, another question, I think you guys scale and composite multiple streams
into a single stream to be Real^tm encoded and *cast.  Is that in a general
video mixing framework, or is it entirely custom at this point?  if custom,
are there plans to generalize it?
