Makefile broken (fwd)

Is the configure file generated from configure.in and the conf
directory?  If so, why is it in CVS and not just generated?

Subject: Makefile broken

The configure file contains a reference to video-test.o, which doesn't
appear in the video directory.  This causes the build process to
fail.  Either video-test needs to be removed from configure or
video-test.cc needs to be checked into CVS.
