Re: MASH bugs
Hi -
We have had many problems making multicast work - mostly traceable to
lack of support in the network switches. We have been able to make it
work between various windows platforms including WNT 4.x and W9x. We
haven't tested it yet on W2k, but I would be very surprised if it didn't
work.
Have you confirmed that the problem is multicast - i.e., have you tried
vic between the various platforms? That seems to be the most reliable
tool for testing.
Larry
p.s. I suggest you update your mailing list to
openmash-developers@openmash.org
which is the new open source group supporting mash. We should have a
new windows release ready in the next month which will fix a number of
compiler warnings and bugs in the code.
