Mash 5.1.4 -- "Jumping on the Delco box"
We are proud to announce Mash 5.1.4, which includes some important new
features.
Paul Huang has made it possible to watch Motion JPEG streams generated
from a computer with a Linux Media Labs' LML33 video board and RTP TV
software (aka a Delco box). Currently, Mash decodes these interlaced
video streams and renders only the odd field using line doubling.
Please join us for tomorrow's Berkeley Multimedia, Interfaces, and
Graphics Seminar, which will be multicast in production-quality 720x480
interlaced video at up to 60 fields per second. Check our website for
more information as we make it available.
Other important changes include the unification of the FreeBSD and OSS
audio drivers by Matt Delco, the incorporation of srmv2.0 into the
mash-code tree, and the addition of a top-level build script.
And, of course, there were a few bug fixes.
Tune in to our seminar and let us know what you think!
