CVS
lets you check out copies of the same code that we work on.
With CVS, it's also very easy to update your copy with the
latest changes and commit your changes into our code base.
Accessing
the CVS Repository
You must have CVS installed on your machine before you can
access our CVS repository. For Unix, precompiled binaries
are available for most
platforms. For Windows, we recommend using WinCVS.
For
more information on using CVS, see the CVS
manual and the CVS
Quick Reference on the CVS
website.
Browsing
the CVS Repository
You can browse
the Open Mash CVS repository. For historical reasons,
the directory structure of the repository is different than
the directory structure you get when you "cvs checkout
mash-code". It might be a little confusing at first,
but you'll find your way around quickly. |
